Serbian Unity Congress Serbia
Serbian Unity Congress assists Positive Center for Digital Media in gathering lecturers and experts participating in talks and education sessions at Media Center Belgrade.
Serbian Unity Congress Serbia was founded in 1993 and it has quickly grown to an information conduit of sorts through which the international public received information about Serbia and local public received information on Diaspora’s work and life abroad. The Congress made the first ever Serbian website, www.serbianunity.net, activated in 1995, which was one of the most visited Serbian websites for years. About 90% of the site content – including daily news and weekly News in Review, as well as the site maintenance – was done in Belgrade. The creative spirit, website manager and the central impetus was situated in the Silicon Valley, Nenad Vukicevic, who later became one of the Congress’ presidents.
